Nigerian-British fourth generation lawyer, Femi Ola established Ade by Femi in Buckhead, Atlanta in late 2021 and within 9 months of opening its doors, showed one of its collections during New York Fashion Week. They have since also been showcased during Dallas Fashion Week and in movies such as BET’s “The First Noelle”.
Their dazzling handmade designs have been worn by the likes of Tabitha Brown to receive her NAACP Image Awards, “French Flair” author and FGI Atlanta Regional Director, Nany Flaherty, Black Panther 2 actress Aba Arthur for the movie’s premiere, Claire Sulmers of FashionBombDaily to host her own fashion show during New York Fashion Week, and a number of trail-blazing women, who favour the brand for their special and everyday occasions due to its attention-grabbing size-inclusive statement-‘making designs. -

She then shared her stories with her students, and they, in turn, inspired and empowered her to share her stories with the world.
